Privacy policy

How we handle information when you visit our website or contact us.

Who we are and what this covers

Model Operator FZE LLC (“Model Operator”, “we”, “us”) is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy.

This policy covers https://modeloperator.io, website enquiries, demo bookings and related business communications. We work with clients in the UAE, the United Kingdom and the United States. Your rights depend on the privacy laws that apply to you.

Our products and services have separate privacy statements and terms, including for connected third-party accounts. See Services and connected accounts below.

Information we collect

  • Information you provide: your name, email address, company, contact details and information you include in an enquiry, booking or correspondence.
  • Website activity: pages viewed, links clicked, video interactions, referring pages, visit times and cookie identifiers when optional tracking is enabled.
  • Technical information: IP address, browser and device information, approximate location and request logs processed by website infrastructure and tracking providers.

Please include only the information needed for your enquiry. The website is intended for business users and is not directed at children under 18. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can remove it.

How we use information

We use enquiry and booking information to respond, arrange meetings, discuss projects and manage business relationships. Technical information helps us operate and protect the website. Optional analytics and advertising data help us understand website use and measure our campaigns.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on steps taken at your request before a contract, performance of a contract, our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries and operating a secure business, and compliance with legal obligations. We rely on consent for optional website tracking. Where consent is required for other processing, we obtain it.

We do not use website information to make solely automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

Cookies and advertising

We use Google Analytics to measure website traffic and interactions, and Meta Pixel to measure advertising results and support advertising audiences. These tools use cookies and similar technologies and send visit and interaction data to Google and Meta.

Optional tracking loads only after you select “Accept optional cookies”. You can reject it and continue using the website. Change your choice through “Cookie settings” in the footer. We store your choice in your browser for up to six months, then ask again.

Google and Meta also process data under their own privacy policies. Meta can associate website activity with your Meta account and use it for personalised advertising. That disclosure can count as “sharing” for cross-context behavioural advertising under applicable US state laws. Rejecting optional cookies prevents these tools from loading.

We honour Global Privacy Control and browser Do Not Track signals by declining optional tracking. You can also remove cookies through your browser. Withdrawing consent stops future tracking; it does not undo processing that has already occurred.

Read the Google Privacy Policy and Meta Privacy Policy for their practices and controls.

Sharing and international transfers

Information is processed by providers supporting our website hosting, email, forms, scheduling, analytics and advertising. Project enquiries use Typeform and demo bookings use Cal.com. Their privacy notices apply to information they process through their platforms: Typeform and Cal.com.

We disclose information where necessary to comply with law, protect rights or obtain professional advice. We do not sell enquiry details. Advertising-related sharing is described in the cookies section above.

Our business is based in the UAE, and providers process information in other countries, including the United States. Privacy laws in those countries can differ from yours. Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, we use the required safeguards, including contractual protections where appropriate. Contact us for information about transfers involving your data.

Services and connected accounts

Using our services can involve connecting accounts such as Slack, Google or Notion. The relevant service privacy statement, terms and client agreement explain the permissions, information accessed, purposes, retention and disconnection process for those integrations.

Visiting this website does not give us access to those accounts. Their providers’ own privacy policies also apply. Where we process company information on a client’s instructions, the client controls that information and the applicable service agreement governs our processing. Direct requests about that information to the client, or contact us for help routing your request.

Retention and security

We retain personal information for the purpose it was collected for: handling an enquiry, managing a business relationship or meeting legal, accounting and record-keeping obligations. Retention depends on the relationship, the type of record and applicable requirements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information and limit access to people and providers who need it for their work. No online transmission or storage system can guarantee complete security.

Your rights and choices

Depending on applicable law, you have rights to access your personal information, correct it, request deletion, restrict or object to processing, receive a portable copy, and withdraw consent. US state laws can also provide rights to opt out of sale, sharing or targeted advertising and to appeal a refused request.

Email alexander@modeloperator.io to make a request or appeal. We verify identity where necessary and respond within the time required by applicable law. Some information must be retained to meet legal obligations. We do not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.

You can opt out of marketing communications by using the unsubscribe option provided or contacting us. You also have the right to complain to the relevant privacy authority. UK residents can contact the Information Commissioner’s Office.
